Baywatch

No beach themed TV series list is complete without Baywatch. It is an action drama series that tells the story of Los Angeles County lifeguards as they patrol the beaches of Los Angeles. It starred Pamela Anderson, Alexandra Paul, and David Hasselhoff. But did you know that this most popular beach themed show was canceled after its first season? Thankfully, the show survived through syndication and voila, it became one of the most popular TV shows of all time in the world.

Beyond the Break

Beyond the Break was a drama series that aired on June 2002 to June 2009. This series is about four women who are into the professional surfing scene and their drama and adventures as they pursue their dreams. It stars Natalie Ramsey, Tiffany Hines. David Chokachi, Ross Thomas, Suzie Pollard, Sonya Balmores. The show had a total of three seasons and 34 episodes.

Falcon Beach

This Canadian TV series which was filmed in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba was first aired in 2005 as a movie on Global in Canada. But in 2006, it was produced as a TV series for ABC and Global. This show is set on a fictional resort town in Manitoba and it is similar to the teen drama TV series, the O.C. Falcon Beach was created by John Murray and Shannon Farr and it starred Jennifer Kydd, Steve Byers, Mellissa Elias, Ephraim Ellis, and Morgan Kelly. It had two seasons and 26 episodes.

John from Cincinnati

This TV drama that was created by Kem Nunn and David Milch. It is set against the surfing scene on Imperial Beach in California. It is about a young man of mysterious origin and how his presence affects a dysfunctional family of surfers and their community. John from Cincinnati starred Bruce Greenwood, Austin Nichols, Luke Perry. Rebecca De Mornay,  Keala Kennelly, Luis Guzman, and Matt Winston. This series was short-lived because it only aired from June 2007 to August 2007 on HBO and it have just one season with ten episodes.

Pacific Blue

This is a crime drama TV series that was created by Bill Nuss and starred Rick Rossovich, Darlene Vogel, Paula Trickey, Jim Davidson, Marcos Ferraez, Mario Lopez, and Amy Hunter. Pacific Blue follows the story of a team of police officers with the Santa Monica Police Department as they patrol its beaches on bicycles. Pacific Blue aired from March 1996 to April 2000 and it have a total of 5 seasons and 101 episodes. This series was also aired on several countries such as Spain, Bulgaria, Austria, Canada, Israel, Italy, Poland, Norway, Belgium, Russia, Sweden, and South America.

Summerland

Summerland was a drama TV series that was created by Lori Loughlin and Stephen Tolkin. It is about Ava, a clothing designer in her 30s who was raising her nephews and niece after their parents die in an accident. Ava’s friends help her raise her niece and nephew as they all lived in a fictional city of Playa Linda in California. The show premiered in June 2004 and had a total of two seasons with 26 episodes.

North Shore

North Shore is a primetime soap opera that aired on Fox for seven months in 2004 to 2005. This show tells the story of the life of the staff and guests of the fictional Grand Waimea Hotel and Resort on Oahu’s North Shore in Hawaii. The series lasted for just one season and have twenty-one episodes. The O.C
