Baywatch (2017)

Adapted from a story by Jay Scherick, David Ronn, Thomas Lennon, and Robert Ben Garant, Baywatch is a 2017 American action comedy film that was directed by Seth Gordon. Its screenplay was written by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon. It is based on the Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz, and Gregory J. Bonann television series. David Hasselhoff, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Dwayne Johnson all appear in the movie. The plot centers on lifeguard Mitch Buchannon and his team as they battle a drug lord to defend their beach. On February 22, 2016, principal photography in Florida and Savannah, Georgia, began.

The movie, which received unfavorable reviews and was released by Paramount Pictures on May 25, 2017, made $177 million worldwide. She has also made appearances as a guest star in several TV shows, such as White Collar, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, True Detective, New Girl, and American Horror Story: Hotel. She starred in the HBO series The White Lotus’ first season in 2021, for which she garnered a lot of praise from critics and was nominated for an Emmy in 2022 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
